Buyers can attend this sale with confidence in the knowledge that all sale bulls have been selected and examined to a high standard.
Sale Bulls are paddock reared and are handled in large groups with horses, dogs and motorbikes and as such do not have a lot of one on one handling but must display a naturally docile nature. They are also prepared for sale on a ration that allows them to readily adjust to most paddock situations.
Included in the 2026 Sale Team are an extremely even line of heavily muscled, growthy and mainly polled sires that will suit the most discerning Stud and top bullock breeders.
This year’s draft of bulls are a line of early maturing growthy bulls that are representative of the commercially relevant cattle we are breeding. This has been confirmed by the success of “Glenavon” steers in show competitions this year.
These included Reserve Champion Steer (660kg Milk Tooth), Reserve Champion Pen (660kg Milk Tooth) at Rockhampton Show and Champion Grain Fed Steer (740kg 2 Tooth) Steer, Reserve Champion Grain Fed Steer (704kg Milk Tooth) and Best Confirmation Steer at the Mackay Show.
These steers are brothers to this years sale bulls.
